Club History:
After placing in the top 3 of the D1 conference three years running while compiling a 24-2 regular season record, the Harlequins won the National Championship in 2012. The club has been promoted to the Women’s Premier League and is ready to compete for the WPL Championship this fall. In existence since 1984, we have an established Harlequin culture and a true sense of “club,” which is key to our success, both on and off the field. Players from all over the South commute or move to play with our squad; our championship roster carried players from 5 states, all of whom attend training regularly.
Position Summary, We are looking for a coach who:
- will help us compete for the WPL Championship
- will nourish and evolve Harlequin culture
- will promote enjoyment of the game and growth of the team by establishing a nurturing, competitive, fun, social rugby environment
- will focus on player development
- is in it for the long term, but we may entertain short-term arrangements if there is a possibility of extending the relationship

The Quins have come away with 1st Place hardware at both tournaments we’ve attended so far this season.
2013 Savannah St. Patty’s Day Tournament
After a hard-fought final against the Gypsies, the Quins came away with a 14-13 win!

The Quins emerged victorious in New Orleans, winning with a near shut-out!

The Harlequins will be hosting another skills camp geared toward collegiate women’s clubs, experienced players, and other ladies in the south who may be new to the sport who want to get more technical skills instruction. All are welcome to attend!
We heard your feedback from last year and will be upping the skill level for those experienced players while still providing solid base-level skills for younger players, so feel free to bring your rookies and vets!
